AntiWrinkle Injections

AntiWrinkle injections are known most commonly by the brand name Botox - However at Refine we prefer to use Xeomin & Dysport.

Antiwrinkle injections are placed into specific points of muscles we are looking to relax, by a trained and skilled Registered Nurse.

Every face is unique as is expectations and goals in terms of results - that is why we complete a consultation prior to discussing overall price, however, we charge by the unit and not by area.

In general the goal is to soften existing lines rather than eliminate & prevent future permanent lines from developing.

How Long Will my Treatment Last?

We recommend retreating your AntiWrinkle treatment every 3-4 months to achieve the best results. For some areas that use low doses we recommend treatment every 6 - 8  weeks. We charge for what we use (as opposed to per 'area').

What to expect at your appointment

AntiWrinkle injections are very quick to administer. After your initial consultation which includes ensuring you are fully informed prior to any treatment -  we decide on the area to treat,  then mark up the injection site/s and calculate how much product we will need to get the desired result.

What to expect after your appointment

Over the days following your appointment you will start to notice a reduction in the muscle movement as the product starts to take effect. Optimal results are noticeable two weeks post treatment.

For 48 hours following your appointment, avoid touching, rubbing and massaging the area. Gentle cleansing and your normal skincare routine is fine.

Avoid exercise, heat and saunas for 24 hours.

Some clients experience a mild headache after treatment.

Two week Follow up

A two week follow up with all new clients is highly recommended, this is to ensure you are happy and that the treatment is working and looking how it should. All patients get a text message from Nurse Shivaghn , two weeks post treatment to check in and ensure all is well.
