Collagen Induction Therapy

Skin needling is also called micro-needling or collagen induction therapy. It is a minimally-invasive non-surgical and nonablative procedure for facial rejuvenation that involves the use of a micro-needling device to create a controlled skin injury.

As each fine needle punctures the skin, it creates a channel or micro-wound. The microchannels created spontaneously close after 10 minutes so that epidermal barrier integrity remains intact. The microscopic punctures made by the Men device stimulate the skin’s healing and repair mechanisms, achieving a natural production of collagen and elastin.

This is a minimally-invasive technique that permits the penetration of active ingredients in the epidermis and dermis where they have maximum efficiency without the need for needles. 

We use the Mpen Pro from Mesoestetic along with their highly active, personalised topical cocktails to address your skin concerns. 

For best results, a series of 4-6 treatments, 3-4 weeks apart is recommended  in conjunction with medical grade skin care.

After your initial consultation, the skin will be cleansed and prepared for treatment.  The skin needling device will be passed over your skin, and active mesoestetic cocktails will be applied to the skin, in order to penetrate through the micro-chanels created.  Some people find the treatment mildly uncomfortable however the results will be worth it.
